The Repl4stic is a creative endeavour of a group of people from many different professional backgrounds, who joined forces to participate in the global effort to develop activities that promote sustainable development and contribute to a larger environmental footprint for the environment, society and the economy.
Repl4stic, trying to bridge the gap between the linear model and the circular production model and to smooth the transition between linear (take-make-dispose) and circular economy, is actively involved in the collection, recycling of plastic lids, design, production and promotion of products, where the raw material is plastic lids and their reuse.
We collect, recycle, design, produce, sell, reuse.
Repl4stic ‘s aim and deeper desire is to communicate to the user the ways in which he or she can become an active participant in this project and an exponent of a new everyday life, imbued with habits and practices that are friendly to the environment.
The principle
The story begins with the start of the Covid19 pandemic. It was March 2020 and two (2) of the four (4) partners were living together.
That was the beginning of it all...
"Universal lockdown" so there is time to think... for the first time in years!
The first thoughts
The idea came up and discussions started and the other two (2) partners were added. What does a business idea need to be implemented? Business plan and there were two friends who knew the subject well! The first meeting of all the partners takes place, a meeting... and that's where "Fan4plastic" was created.
The Repl4stic
"Fan4plastic" became a company in flesh and blood (start-up at the tax office, installations, purchase of equipment and all that you can find on the site) and is now Replastic IKE.
The today
A company with the aim of recycling used plastic caps!
They have found the problem and the solution. The linear model of production causes the problem...
The circular production model is the Solution!
The solution is the circularity/reuse of plastic lids.
They create original products from the recycling of plastic lids and most importantly with 0% waste!
What we do
Our aim is to encourage people to think that some of our waste can have a second life. Everyone’s waste, and in particular plastic lids (water bottle caps, soft drinks, cleaning products, etc.), can be an excellent raw material for creating original products.
